Congratulations for being invited to consult for us.
If you simply found us on Networkcreators - you are just as welcome to participate as those who were invited.
Lets see... Where do I begin?
To get down to brass tacks - we are Scripts4ning.ning.com.
If you have not heard of us - we are a highly regarded 3rd party developer for Ning social networks.
Cool thing is -we are also NC's of our own networks - and we make extensions and add-ons for our own networks when we see a sorely needed function. And since we make em for us - we figure you could use them too.
So this time - we have created SmileyEmpire - a FREE extension from Scripts4ning that you will be able to add to your network in just a couple of weeks.
Here's how it will work.
You - as the Network Creator will go through the easiest installation process you can imagine.
And when that is complete - (in about 10 seconds) - you will be able to turn on SmileyEmpire from your "MANAGE" area.
There will be a configuration page that you will use to choose 2 to 3 of our 62 sets of 20 smileys. You can mix and match the sets to work with your network theme and style.
If you have not noticed already - on this site - underneath each comment wall is a small blue glowing smiley.
If you move your mouse over that smiley - a menu will appear with 40+ smilies in it.
This 'prototype' system is displaying our test smilies.
You can click on a smiley and a code will appear in that comment box.
Our release version of this software will place the smilies down on the page WITHOUT requiring a refresh or reload of the page.
What we are going to show you during you consultation - is:
1.) The actual facial smiley sets
2.) The sets themed for holidays
3.) The set or sets created for your network genre.
So - just preview your smileys and wait for our signal. If you feel like it - go join www.scripts4ning.ning.com. And we'll be able to keep you better informed.
